Personal Statement
Hi my name is Isabel Montileone and I would like to introduce myself! I am 17 years old and a senior at Fort Zumwalt South High School in St. Peters, Missouri. Since I started playing competitive soccer at age 8, it has always been a dream of mine to play at the college level, and continue my education doing something that I love to do.
On the field, during my 2019-2020 season I was the leading goal scorer for Lou Fusz Geerling and this season so far the third leading goal scorer for the National League at the 05 age group. With a combined total of 12 goals in my 3 State Cup appearances, I have been an asset on my team by playing a huge part in us winning the Missouri State Cup two years in a row. For the 2020-2021 season I continue to be a top scorer for my team, Lou Fusz GA 05 Critchley. I work hard and am very determined on and off the soccer field. I feel, with my strong will and work ethic and desire to learn, that I could step into any college program and be an impact player with my eye on the goal.
I love the thought of the competitiveness of college soccer and know I can thrive on the field and in the classroom. With the different teams I have played for over the years and the different styles of play, I feel like I can fit in with any team and have success. I am undecided about a major at this time, but look forward to figuring it out. As a freshman, I made the Varsity soccer team for my school, but unfortunately due to COVID-19 were unable to play. As a sophmore, I am looking forward to being able to actually play.
