Personal Statement
I want to go to school for more than books. I want to be part of a team where I can be around great people and we can have fun and will have memories that can last forever. Since I've been in club since 3rd grade, soccer is a huge part of my life. It's given me friends, taken me to great places (Las Vegas, Indianapolis, Canada) and taught me how to push through when things get hard.
For years, I played on defense and some people call me a "shutdown defender" and I have had a nickname of "Ghost". I can be used on both sides of the field. Now, I am playing at outside mid and forward on my new club team, Minnesota Thunder Academy and they have moved up to Premier.
If you ask my coaches what they like most about me, they would say I am coachable. My teachers would say I'm a good student. My friends would say I am smart and fun to be around.
I'm looking for a good fit when it comes to academics, soccer, location and having fun - it could be D1, D2, D3 or NAIA. And, I hope that I am the right person for your team. Thanks!
