Personal Statement
At school I am involved in many things. I like to feel like I am a part of my school which is why I have joined many clubs which I enjoy being in. I challenge myself when it comes to both academics and athletics. I take as many honors and AP classes as I can to push myself, and I have still maintained straight A's. I had a knee injury my sophomore year and I went to a chiropractor to help fix the issue. As a result of this, I have decided that I want to become a physical therapist. This sounds like the right career path for me, and I like the idea of being able to help young athletes just like my doctor did for me. I also like being involved in my community by volunteering at places such as church and girl scouts.
As an athlete I am very dedicated to becoming a better player. I make sure that I try my best at every practice and game. My work ethic is evident through the fact that I joined Cross Country my freshman year so that I would be in better shape for the upcoming soccer season. In two of the years that I ran Cross Country I missed going to state by seconds. One of my favorite parts of playing soccer is probably the bond that I make with my teammates. I love the feeling of belonging and unity that a good team has when playing together.
