Note: Serena graduated high school in 2015 and is attending college her first year (but not playing for that college). She is working this year and saving money for school.
It was only last week that Mr. G asked our class, "What are your passions?" It caught me off guard. I thought about it and came to the conclusion that soccer was and always has been a big part of my life. I've been playing soccer for about 10 years now and it's the one thing I look forward to. My thoughts of walking out onto the pitch to play makes me ecstatic and I thrive on the competition. In addition, one trait that makes me stand out from the other recruits is my passion for soccer. I strive to be my best because I truly believe a person can always be better than their best. Throughout my soccer experiences, I've tried and played about every position on the field, offense or defense. I love to compete so much I will play anywhere I'm needed to help my team! My goal is simply to attend a college or university where I can continue to play soccer and gain an education. At this time, my proposed major is "undecided."
