Academically and athletically I push myself and make goals to work towards. For example, my goals for this soccer season is to see growth and leadership from myself. I want to grow as an athlete. To elaborate, I want to push myself even when everyone else isn't or nobody is there. How I plan to achieve that is through running and weightlifting to work on my physical condition to avoid injuries and not be held back physically. Next the leadership aspect. I thrive to be the one who does what is best for the team where we can be successful and to encourage others to work harder. I plan to achieve this by becoming captain and letting the team know they have my support, but also being strong because with a weak leader, you will have a weak team. Academically, I strive for a 4.0 GPA and to challenge myself to more rigorous classes such as AP European history and doubling up on math classes. I achieve my goal of good grades by completing assignments with purpose along with clarifying with subjects I don't understand. I am not one to give up easily, so I will push myself to succeed until I achieve my goals.
