From a young age I've always loved playing soccer. I've found it has always been my "get away" from life. Soccer has always been there for me. I'm extremely competitive, I always love a good game. After having to sit on the bench for 8 months after my injury of tearing both my ACL and MCL. I have been able to look at soccer, and even at life in a new perspective. It was always hard being told I wasn't ready yet. Everything happens for a reason though, right? As I took time off and watched my teamates, I learned the game from a complete different stand point. I learned that the condition of my body is as vital as what I put in it. It was the hardest most painful thing I have ever gone through, from mixed emotions to recovery, but hands down it was the best thing to ever happen to me. I don't ever look at a practice as, "Oh it's just practice." If its a game, training, a pickup game, or even just practice, I make sure I put out 100%. As a soccer player you never know when your last time playing is, so always play like its your last. I always put in a 100% on and off the field. Classroom and school work is just as important as soccer practice or a game. Don't wish for it, work for it.
