Kristina Cardia '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer ever since I was four years old. Soccer is not considered just some hobby to me, it is part of my life, it is my passion. When I play, I become very determined. Everything leaves my mind besides, the goal, the ball, and my teammates. Having personal skills is such an advantage, especially when they're all brought together and put in action by you and your teammates. Soccer, I'm glad to say, has developed a competitive, determined, hardworking and leading person. I have played on four different teams: EYSA League team (10 years), EYSA Travel Team (2 years, year-round) and two different high school varsity teams. As a junior, I was nominated and won MVP and was honored to be captain. In the last four years of EYSA, I was chose to play in the leagues all-star team. Balancing school, soccer, and other activities only made me more responsible. My grades maintained at a B+ or even higher. I had received High Honor Roll consistency awards, and I was in the National Junior Honor Society and am currently in the National Honor Society. Soccer has always been a part of my life, and because I am so passionate about it, I would not want it to end for me in high school.
