Kayla Bloomquist '17 Recruiting Profile

In college I hope to achieve many things. I would love to get a great education and play sports at the highest level possible. As an athlete I have been self driven to be the best that I can be at everything that I do since an early age. I make an effort to take high level classes to get the most out of my high school education. I have been running varsity cross country and track since eighth grade. In eighth grade I placed 29th at state cross country, freshman year I placed 28th (six weeks after knee surgery), and sophomore year placed 14th. In track freshman year I placed 6th at state for the 400 meter dash with a time of 57.27 seconds. For basketball view my highlight real. My other interests include weight lifting, FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes), running for fun, and eating healthy!
