Poppy Cartledge '18 Recruiting Profile

I am very driven Student/Athlete, always setting my goals high so that I am constantly challenged. I am really interested in studying Art and Design in college while I continue to play soccer.

My dominant position is attacking mid but I am a very strong center forward especially as a target player. I am a very technical player and my main strengths are holding the ball up, vision, distribution and linking passes as my team transitions forward. As one of two Team Captain's I communicate well as a leader on and off the field and feel I lead by example. I have great passion for the sport and believe in dedication and commitment whether it's in a game or practice. I have a very positive attitude towards both my academic work as well as being a student-athlete.  My club team has been successful at achieving four consecutive State Championships and competed at several times at Regional level.
