Personal Statement
I've loved the game of soccer since I was able to play as a 5 year old in our local rec league. Competition motivates me and I always strive to take my game to the highest level possible. As a high school freshman, I set a goal to play level collegiate soccer. I'm dedicated to my sport, my fitness, my teams, my education, and my community.
I also play varsity basketball for my high school team and played AAU basketball for a New England team that competed in the 2016 National AAU Championship in Atlanta GA in which my team placed 4th in the country. In addition to soccer and basketball, I am also a member of my high school unified volleyball team which is a team made up of students with and without intellectual and physical disabilities.
Volunteering in my community is also important to me as I have coached young children in our recreation departments "learn to play" basketball program. I also coach kindergarten and 1st grade children in the recreation soccer program during the fall and I also serve as a referee and field preparation volunteer.
