I started out with Dance and Horseback Riding at the age of 4, these two sports were my life. One was a team sport, and one was an individual sport. Then I was introduced to soccer by my older sister at the age of 6 and I fell in love. I felt like I was watching my sister on a stage working individually and as a teammate to win games and score goals, so much excitement and cheering! That was all I needed, I’ve been playing soccer ever since, I love it more than anything!
I am an impactful player and help make a difference on the field. I am passionate about the game of soccer, the competition and working together as a team are what drives me. Competition is healthy on a team, it’s what drives each and every one of us to push ourselves to the next level and helps us to be better people on and off the field. As for working together as a team, I have always been a player that has put the success of my team ahead of my own, hence why I love being a midfielder. Here I am focused on making sure we are all working hard together by ensuring I get passes where they need to be for my teammates success, distributing the ball to the right player and helping our defense make a strong wall.
I have leadership skills, l’m strong physically and have a high soccer IQ. I am coachable and strive to be the hardest working player on the field. I lead by example and show my teammates we got this! Off season I work hard on my soccer skills by participating in dome teams, summer camps, and train during the summer with a past coach.
Academically, I strive to be the best I can be and maintain a high GPA. I participate in the yearbook club and have done so since freshman year and for the first time this year I will be participating in Unified Basketball. I also volunteer for the Special Olympics organization and last summer helped coach toddlers for my local community soccer program, which I hope to participate in again this year.
I am looking forward to attending college and majoring in Physical Therapy. I hope to help people recover and build themselves backup up to where they were prior.
