Personal Statement
What makes me different from other student athletes is my strong work ethic, dedication and commitment to being the best person I can be --- both on the soccer field and in the classroom. I enjoy challenging myself and believe that the more I push myself to succeed at whatever I choose, the more confidence I gain in my abilities and the more I grow as a person. I am looking forward to future challenges and opportunities at college as I purse both my academic interests and playing soccer at a high level. Having trained in Wales with the Swansea City AFC - Ladies Team in the summer of 2014, I understand the commitment it takes to play soccer at a top-level. I believe that I would be a very good candidate for your team because, as a goalkeeper, I bring intense energy, a high level of commitment and strong leadership skills. I enjoy the pressure of being a goalie and look forward to contributing to the success of the team and to your soccer program.
I also recently set the all time record for a female bench-press of 220lbsx1 with my strength and goalkeeper coach, Mark Williams.
I led my high school varsity soccer team (Morris Knolls Girl's Soccer) to the 2017 Morris County Tournament (MCT) championship in 2017 and earned the MVP for the tournament by posting 4 clean sheets. This was my high school's first county title since 1998.
