Mid-season 2014-2015 I joined a club team. I attended three training sessions with them before they headed off to an out of state tournament. I was anxious to see how I did, but realized I’d have to wait until the coach returned from the tournament to speak to him. As soon as they got back from the tournament, they reached out to let me know they wanted me on the team. I was excited and looking forward to playing with a more competitive team and playing against a higher level of competition. Two weeks later we were heading back out of state for a college showcase. I was nervous, but thought this is it; this is what I have been waiting for. We didn’t place, but I played hard, and had a great time bonding with my new teammates.
I would be a good fit for your team because I am open to any location and have not declared a major. Currently I carry a 3.6 GPA and would like to attend a school that would benefit me academically and athletically as well as help me grow as a person and athlete.
