What differentiates me from other recruits is difficult to answer; as is to brag about my attributes. However, understanding that I must give a glimpse of "who I am" and "what makes me tick", I'd like to share the following about "Karlie Stolls".
I am a very fun-loving, yet very serious and committed person. Not just on the soccer field, but within all aspects of my life. If someone tells me I can't achieve something, I just work twice as hard. Failure is not an option and the impossible is just a little harder to accomplish. I never give up and try different solutions to get the desired outcome. I speak in actions, not just words. Not everyone can be a leader, but I do like to lead by example.
I have a heart of gold, and lover to work with special needs children. One of my camp friends passed away a couple of years ago. She suffered from dwarfism, but she was a giant in my eyes. I get a lot of my inspiration from her; who never let anything be too "big" for her to overcome.
I don't succumb to peer pressure. As I see old friends and peers go down a different paths; I stick to mine... hard work on the field, in the classroom, and "give back" to the less fortunate. Soccer has been my love since I was 3, but I also enjoy reading, writing, singing, animals and all sports (competitive & leisure).
Wherever I attend school, I plan to give ALL of myself... to my team, to my studies and to my community. I want to make a difference and positive impact.
