Hi, my name is Emily Driver. I am a junior at Haddon Heights High School in New Jersey. In school I take all Honors and AP courses and am a member of the National Honor Society. I also participate in many school clubs such as Garnet and Gold (a community service group), French Club, and SADD (students against destructive decisions). Outside of school I volunteer at my church, but what I enjoy the most is playing the sport that I love, soccer. I have been playing soccer since I was 5 and although my right foot is dominant I continue to work to improve the skills of both feet. My first year of high school I was the only freshman to make the varsity team. I played every game as a freshman; starting more than half of them. As a sophomore I started every game as a defensive center midfielder. This year, as a junior, I started every game as a defensive center midfielder but was also pushed up to a high outside midfielder if needed. I was awarded first team all conference as well as honorable mention for all state. I was also the teams leading scorer with 12 goals. I also play for the Cherry Hill FC Phantoms club team year round at the EDP level, attending multiple tournaments. I hope my future after high school into college includes playing soccer at a competitive collegiate level where I can continue to work hard and improve my skills in the sport I love!
