Hello my name is Karlee Maes. I will be a 2018 graduate at La Cueva High School in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I am looking for a college that has excellent academic and athletic programs. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old. I am currently on a Showcase team with Rio Rapids Soccer Club coached by Cole Borgeson. I play Varsity at La Cueva High School. I made the New Mexico ODP team for 2013-2015. In 2014 and 2015 (in 2013 the team did not travel), I played in the Region IV ODP Championships with the New Mexico team. I have attended the Region IV ODP Pool camp in 2013 and 2015.
I play outside defense and right or left wing, but I can easily adapt to any position on the field because I can read the game very well. I started left midfield for my high school team which won the JV Tournament in the gold division for the state. I start right back for my club team. I have also played a holding and outside midfield position for my club team. I am good at winning balls in the air and I go into tackles strong. A key aspect of my game is speed, I am very fast and I love running down the wing with the ball and crossing balls in to the box, as well as taking on players one vs. one.
Thank you for reviewing my profile, and please feel free to contact me with any questions or contact my club coach Cole Borgeson for a reference. [email protected]
