Eleanor Wilson '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Eleanor Wilson. I am a sophomore at Millbrook High School in Raleigh, North Carolina, and play club soccer at Wake Futbol Club on the 08 Girls Academy team. My preferred positions are CF or ACM, but I can also play on the wing or holding mid if needed.  My accomplishments in the 2022-2023 included starting on my club team, winning our division at Jeff Cup, playing with NCODP in the Virginia Friendlies Subregional event and receiving NAC Academic All-Conference recognition.  Coach evaluations from camps last year noted my ability on the ball, tenaciousness, and vision to involve teammates. I feel some of my strengths are penetrating on the dribble, finishing with either foot, & drawing defenders to open up my teammates.  I am a supportive teammate and am praised for my work rate, having a sunny personality, and for being coachable. I am a hard worker on the field and in the classroom where I have a 4.4 GPA while taking honors and AP coursework.  My goal is to find a college that will provide outstanding academics to further my goal of a career in health care while continuing my soccer career at a high competitive level.
