I feel that a few things make me stand out from others in regard to my character. I know there are many negative stereotypes about girls who come from "sin city," but I am definitely one to break that mold. I am honest, responsible, and am a very hard worker. I have never been in trouble, and academically, I am one of the top students in my magnet high school. I feel that I am a very likable person, and I have been able to mesh well with any team I have been a part of. I hope to go to a good college with talented professors. I hope I can fit in with others attending the college as I earn my degree.
I started my soccer career when I was only 3 playing in recreational leagues until people started noticing that I was playing better than the rest, and they recommended I move to competitive. I joined Las Vegas Premier at the age of 6 playing on the White/ECNL team and was there for many years, playing as a starter and earning many MVP and Honorable Mentions while on the team. I have now joined the Players SC Elite 96/97 Team and enjoy the high level of play they offer. I have become one of the best defenders in the state through countless hours of practice and training under such accredited coaches as Jim Wain, Mike Harden, Amanda Forrester, Natasha Kai, Doug Borgel, Vinny Magliulo, Saeed Bonabian, Jay Luff, and currently with Holland Hanson. Due to my hard work and determination I was able to become a starting forward for my Varsity Clark High School soccer team and a starting defender on my Olympic Development team. My hard work, ethics, and perseverance on and off the field have made me an asset to myteammates and coaches and shows why I belong as a starter on any team.
As a Junior I was a key player on the Varsity Soccer team and earned many awards including MVP. As a Sophomore I played Varsity Soccer, Varsity Flag Football, and Varsity Track once again earning my White Letter. I made Varsity Cheer, Varsity Soccer, and Varsity Track as a Freshman, earning my White Letter. I was also selected as the MVP for Varsity Soccer and MVP for Varsity Track. It was the first year in many that my HS Soccer team made it to the State Semi-Finals. I also made it to Regionals and State for Track. In middle school I made the varsity cheerleading squad for my school and was the determining factor for why my school won in the city wide Bridge Building Contest for 2010.
Off the field I am in my third year at a very rigorous Math, Science, and Technology High School. I love the challenge this school offers and am thriving. I came to this school already having completed 3 years at a Math, Science, and Engineering Magnet Middle School with 6 full credits in Math and Science.
I also serve on student council as an Executive Senator and have been in Student Council for 6 years now. I was just elected Student Body President for the 2015-2016 school year. In the past I have served three times as President, once as Vice President, once as Historian, and once as Representative.
