Personal Statement

I have been playing competitive soccer since I was 7 years old and I love it.  I am a Senior attending MHS and I have been a key player on our Varsity team since I was in 9th grade.  I have been selected to serve as Captain this year and I am very honored to be recognized in that capacity by my coach! I am proud that I have been able to maintain the high honor roll designation and juggle all the sports and extra-curricular things I do.  Being a scholar athlete is really an honor and I love the challenge, the hard-work, and the success I have been fortunate enough to have.

I would like to continue to play soccer throughout my college career.  But, what is most important to me is that I find a college where I can continue to grow and learn.  I would like to make a difference in this world...so, not only am I am looking to earn a degree, but also make an impact (off the field) through my schooling, independent & work studies, participation in meaningful ways as a volunteer, and all of the contacts I will meet along the way.  This is my life's journey and I plan to make the most of it.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
