Emily Arango '17 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5’7 attacking mid at Democracy Prep Harlem High School in Harlem, NY. I also play all around defense at club, Gotham Girls FC. Although I am open to switching to any position needed at in college. I weigh 120lbs, and have a rising 3.4 GPA. Playing soccer in college is a goal that I expect to achieve. Failing to do so is something that is not an option. My current goals, are to add mass and get faster with better control of the ball both sprinting and in under pressure moments. I will be working tirelessly to get playing time anywhere I go as a freshman. I would like to go to a school where both the level of academics and soccer are high-ranking: where the atmosphere both on the field and off pushes me to be the best I can be. I love to take all chances given and equally love to show up in high-demand situations. I am open to all schools, and will absolutely look through all opportunities.
