Soccer has been my passion since I started playing when I was four. Some of my greatest and earliest memories are from my early days playing the sport I’ve fallen in love with. My Dad is the reason I am where I am today, he has pushed me through every game, every injury, and has been there waiting after every victory. My competitive personality is present on and off the field. My first year of Highschool I tried out for Olentangy Berlin’s Soccer team. My proudest moment was being the only freshman on the varsity team, where I played center back. Being a new school, we did not have the best record as we were still building up the program. I gained unique experiences from being a part of such a premature team such as having a chance to be a leader and shape the team for the future. As a center back I stepped up and took the role as a communicator of the team and led the team from the back. One of my favorite parts of the game is taking feedback and skills learned in practice and applying them to the game. I strive to do well in school and it is always my top priority. My goal is to continue playing soccer in college while I pursue my dream of being a teacher. I take pride in everything I do and being successful on and off the field is incredibly important to me and I hold myself to high standards in everything I do.
