First off, my name is Emma Reed. I attend Jackson High School in Massillon, Ohio. My whole life is soccer and I have been playing soccer for 6 years. One goal I want to achieve is playing soccer collegiately. I wish to get into a great school that fits for me athletically and academically. While in college, I hope to keep getting better, and that means knowing the game on and off the field even more than the day before.
I believe that I would be great for any team because I am able to adapt to new positions, set-ups, and to the environment around me. I am able to find a balance between being a leader and knowing when to listen and learn from others. Coaches can also expect a great work ethic out of me. I push myself very much, maybe even a little too much, but it only makes me stronger. I strive to be the best I can be. During the soccer season, I will still be able to get my academics done. I am able to manage my time very well.
Not only can I do what I've said above, I believe that I am headstrong. I've pushed through many rough events that have happened in my life.
Anyway, what makes me different than other possible recruits is that I am always open for new ways for me to get better. I try and learn from my mistakes I make on and off the field. I watch our games to see what needs to improve as well as watching the professional leagues and teams. You must know that grades are an important factor in my life and in college I will strive to achieve good grades. My strengths are accuracy and precision of the ball, speed, and skill. I am a player who never gives up and always keeps her head held high.
What I look for in my chosen college, I hope to see many good things such as: a loving student body, wide range of majors (in case I wish to change my major.), and just an overall great environment. A coach who is respectful to all players will get my respect back, 100% work rate, and dedication.
I hope I am able to be a good fit for your team.
Thank you for reading.
Emma Reed.
