Monica Davis '16 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Monica Davis. I have played soccer for quite a while and have rotated through every position from forward to keeper. When I finally became keeper I immediately loved it; you get to be a leader and you have the chance to turn the atmosphere of the game around by making one great save. Soccer is not the only sport I have played though. I have been active in almost every other sport offered at Jones High School. These include track, cross country, basketball, and softball. I have incorporated bits and pieces from each of these to become a well rounded keeper.

I'm not all sports though. Just as I strive to be a well rounded keeper, I strive to be a well rounded student. I am currently top of my class; an active member of Mu Alpha Theta, Academic Team, and the National Honor Society; have a 4.0; have went to leadership camps; and take every advanced placement and honors class available. Education is an important part of my life, and I want to continue it through college and in a career in biochemistry where I would be constantly learning everyday.
