Jordan Ashworth '18 Recruiting Profile

While I believe that a solid education is the best investment for my future, continuing my soccer journey in college would allow me to expand my knowledge and love for the game. I am very interested in pursuing a career in biology or health sciences, possibly physical therapy. I have developed valuable time management skills and excellent study habits by having to juggle a busy schedule with school, soccer, and other interests. Playing at the college level would allow me to achieve one of my goals, which is to be a student-athlete at the highest level.

I have been playing soccer for eleven years. Explosive speed, good anticipation, and great field visualization allow me to be a versatile player with the ability to play multiple positions.  I have the most experience at center back, but can also contribute as an outside back or as a forward. My passion for soccer is evident when I play the game and I would love to continue that passion by playing college soccer.

*Fun fact*

I love taking penalty kicks in games.  During my sophomore year I became the go to player for penalty kicks and scored five goals in the season.
