I grew up with a soccer ball at my feet and friends and family by my side. Seeing the passion, hard work, and effort that a majority of my relatives have put forth on the field and in the classroom has inspired me to become the best soccer player that I can be. Those surrounding me have always had high expectations and aspirations, not only for themselves but for me as well. In this way, I have learned how to set and achieve goals both academically and athletically. These goals have helped me to become the determined, competitive, and aggressive young woman that I am today. Through playing soccer, I have learned how to manage my time and devote as much effort as it takes in becoming a successful student athlete. Along my journey I have been introduced to many different players and coaches that have influenced my athletic ability. I have learned many different styles and techniques that will set me apart from other players, both mentally and technically.
