Briget Sponenberg '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was able to walk. It is something that I fell in love with the minute I started playing. I have been learning and experiencing new things since the day I started. I do not just play soccer because it is fun, I play it because I love every aspect of the game. I remember watching soccer games on TV and telling my mom that she would some day be watching me play on TV. Till this day I strive to do the best that I can do in the sport. I have learned that soccer is not just a game you have to be physically prepared for. You have to be more mentally prepared than anything. You have to be able to judge where the ball is going to go and what your opponent is going to do before they even get a chance to do it. I am determined and have enough self confidence that I know I can become a soccer player worth wanting.
