Personal Statement
My name is Angela DeBlasio and I am going into my senior year at Neshannock High School in New Castle, PA. . I am the starting forward and have led them with a total of forty-one goals over the past three years. I have been a varsity starter for my high school team since freshman year and earned three varsity letters. In 2010 my high school team went undefeated and was named Section Champions. My junior year I was acknowledged as team captain and Section All-Star player among other high school soccer players from Western Pennsylvania. I am also captain for this coming 2013-2014 soccer season.
I also play for the Northern Steel U17 girls club team in Butler, PA. I am currently in my second year playing in the premier level. My team has played in several tournaments in Western PA and Ohio. I also play forward for my select team.
My goal after high school is to go to college and study Occupational Therapy. However, I have been playing soccer for over 14 years and it is a dream of mine to continue to play at the collegiate level. I hope that within the next few months I will find a college that will offer me the academic curriculum I am seeking for and a soccer future.
