Personal Statement
My name is Lizzie King and I live In Swarthmore, PA. I play all forward positions but am most commonly played as a center forward or left forward.
Now that my Strath Haven High School career is coming to an end I wanted to share my statistics with you. While I have compiled very nice stats and awards it is also a reflection of my having recieved excellent support, guidance and training from my coaches and having teammates that I would go to battle with anytime and anywhere. I am most pleased with being selected NCSSA High School All American and being inducted into the Pennyslvania Sports Hall of Fame but I do truely treasure them all.

I am considered a stud goal scorer and I prefer to play against the best competition. I have sprinter's speed, my father's height, and I am strong. I am able to score in a variety of ways: breakaways, volleys, 25 yards out, headers, and I even scored one this season with a diving header from her knees while getting kicked in the face by a defender (breaking her nose, included in my video).
I am recognized as the hardest working player and the most talented, and when your most talented player works the hardest, it raises the level of your entire team and my teammates look up to me.
What draws me to your program is the success of your team in the recent years and also the schools high academic standards. I am interested in health sciences and sports medicine programs. Academics combined with the successful soccer program under your coaching makes you one of my top choices.
