Personal Statement
During college, my goals are to obtain a degree in Biology/Forensics to become a Forensics Pathologist . I aspire to play women's soccer at the highest, competitive level, even beyond the college field. I am a great candidate for a college team because of my work ethic on and off the field. I view my athletics as a career. When I am not at a scheduled training, I still need to go to work if I want it to pay off for me as a player. I workout whenever I do not have practice or a game. This may be running, lifting, or some type of circuit training. In addition, I have had many coaches express to me how coachable I am on the field and at training. I enjoy being pushed to my limits as I train so I can continually become a better player and continue to learn. During the season, I never miss a practice or game, even if I am sick. My character is much different from other recruits because I was raised by excellent parents that taught me not to do anything wrong that could hurt my career, such as drugs, drinking, or partying. I am a respectful person to all people that I encounter. I have been raised to have good manners, not not use foul language, and to control my anger in situations. I learned this throughout my time in karate. I am not rude or unpleasant to my classmates or teammates because my teammates are my family. I am a trustworthy person and I would not lie or cheat to get ahead in life. I am a responsible student and person. I study in advance and start any projects early, there is no time for procrastinating. Playing sports has shown me how to manage my time, so I do not fall behind on my academics. Also, I am a caring person who shows good citizenship. I am a member of the Key club and this club has taught me how to help make my community better and help those who are in need. In my academics, I am extremely intelligent and work hard to maintain a high average in all my classes. I am a member of the Junior National Honor Society and a member of the National Honor Society. All of these qualities make me an ideal student athlete.
