Marissa Panasiti '16 Recruiting Profile

I've been playing soccer for 10 years and I know the sport better than the back of my hand, I love it more than anything. I'm in Pennsylvania Classics, and I've been a starter ever since my first game with them. My career on that team placed me at central defense, so I've been playing that position for about 5 years. However, high school season started, and my coach moved me to striker.  I was the second top scorer with 14 goals, and had the most assists with 10. I was proud of myself, mostly because a defender is capable of this. My sophomore year, this year, was my first year of actually playing for my school. I started, I was a first team all star, team MVP, and all region honorable mention. I'm an all-around player, I will go anywhere you need me.  I also have a 98% GPA, which is 3.85. I think I separate myself from other athletes because I have plans for myself, I've done the research, I keep my grades up, and I'm extremely driven.
