When I was a young player, I was told that I was I was too small and not good enough to play soccer, but that did not stop me. At a very early age, I learned to overcome obstacles and work hard to achieve my goals. It is this drive that has allowed me to get where I am today and shows in many parts of my game. I enjoy the challenge of getting in the air and finding ways to get my head on the ball. I also love taking players on 1 v 1 to net, as this can often create scoring opportunities for me or my teammates. I will always fight hard for what I believe in and take great pride in the fact that I show respect on and off the field.
It is my plan to bring that same determination into the classroom as I enter my junior year of high school. I have put a lot of effort into qualifying for honors classes and hope to add more to my schedule as I progress through high school. I plan to spend time evaluating my strengths and interests so that I can determine an academic path for my college years that is rewarding. I see my college career as a time for great personal growth and I am very excited about the opportunities that are ahead.
