Personal Statement

I am a good candidate for your team because I am dedicated and hard working, not only on the field but in the classroom as well. I strive to succeed in anything I do.  I am self motivated and want to be the best at everything I do. During the "off season" I stay in shape by doing cross-fit, weightlifting, and run at least 1 mile per day. I do these things on my own without my parents or coaches telling me to do so. My off season is usually around the time frame of 2 months, but I stay active and committed to the game during this time. I play club soccer in the fall with South Carolina United FC.  I am on the '98 Girls Elite team. I attend White Knoll High School in Lexington, South Carolina and also play for their women's soccer team (SC High schools have a spring season). Being a leader in all that I do, whether its on or off the field, brings success in my point of view. I believe if you are a good leader more people will look up to you and want to succeed the way you do. My ultimate goal is to play Division I or Division II soccer.   After college, I think that I want to work in the education system and coach soccer.

Having good grades is a high priority that I have for myself. Maintaining good knowledge is a standard of mine. When I am assigned homework or a project I get them done right away. Procrastination is not an option and never will be an option. I am different from the other recruits because I do not slack off during or near the end of the school year. I am good at handling multiple tasks under pressure as well.
