Janie McAmis '15 Recruiting Profile

Throughout my childhood and adolescent years, I have and still do portray a deep passion for soccer. The game itself is a hard game to love, because of the dedication, commitment, and hardships. Soccer is a physically and mentally tough game. I am determined to find my full potential by playing soccer at the collegiate level. I believe I would be a good candidate for any team because I always give 110% and I am flexible on the field. I can play multiple positions and will give my all in each and every position. I was the captain of my soccer team this past season and helped lead them to a State Championship. I would be great teammate; willing to help anyone and everyone, and encourage others whenever it be needed. I have had many experiences in my life that have helped me become a better and more responsible leader. As for my future career, I plan on becoming a traveling nurse. Therefore, traveling internationally or even nationally will require a great deal of independence, respect and responsibility. I plan on majoring in nursing throughout college with a minor in Spanish with high hopes of becoming bilingual. Therefore, academically I am highly motivated to work hard and achieve the greatest possible level of education that suits me. Many of my past experiences through school activities, sports, and community involvement have guided me to where I am today and have a great deal of influence on my career opportunities and aspirations.
