I did many sports as a kid, but soccer was the sport I enjoyed the most and the one I could see my self playing in future. I have learned many things from soccer, like how much work really goes into becoming a good soccer player, and it has helped me overcome many obstacles. I used to be shy, but soccer helped me get out of my shell and get more vocal. I used to not be a starter, but it made me want to try harder and now I am a captain for my high school and travel team. I would make a good candidate for your team, because I am always striving to be better and willing to learn new things. Some of my unique skills are that I can move the ball around quickly and I am good at reading where the ball is going to be played. These are some talents which show I can compete in college, not only because of my skill, but because of my commitment and willingness to give my all at ever game and practice
