Personal Statement
Graduating with a degree while playing collegiate soccer is my greatest aspiration to date. I am looking for a collegiate home that suits me academically, athletically, and personally. I am looking for a program that will help me grow as a player, but more importantly allow me to grow as a person. I pride myself on character and being a good citizen. I am confident, but believe myself to be coachable, I am accepting of criticism and will not be outworked on the field or in the film room to improve my game for the betterment of the team.
Playing soccer has provided me with countless opportunities. It has brought me my forever friends and it has taught me to be the confident young lady I am working to be everyday. Being captain of my club team for three years has taught me how to not only lead by example, but has pushed me to be a leader. I use these attributes off the field as well by being class vice president and a small group leader at my church. Scoring goals is vitally important, but I find greater satisfaction in accumulating assists rather than the finish or threading the perfect pass.
I look forward to speaking with you and hearing about your program and where I fit in. I am ready to sacrifice and work hard to strive towards excellence and helping your program achieving success .
