Personal Statement
I would like to play Women's soccer in college. I have played Girl's soccer for three years and have started on the varsity team every year. I am a good candidate to the team because I strive for teamwork and success. I am the oldest child out of six children in my family, so I have been part of a team my whole life. I have been an honor roll student all of my school years and I have been enrolled in the highest academic program at my school, Bradley Central High School, for three years. I have taken one dual enrollment class so far and I am excelling very well in that class. My highest ACT score has been a 23 but I am working on raising my score to a 30. My goals for college are to be involved in Women's soccer, minor in Spanish and to pursue a career in marine biology or athletic training.
A few facts that make me different from other players are:
- I am a full-hearted team player. I love being on a team and succeeding. Soccer is not a one-man sport.
- I am a fast learner. Once I am taught something, for example a defensive tactic to do with my defensive line or new game strategies, I can apply that tactic very quickly.
- I do not stop. I put my best onto that field and give it everything have, because you never know when it may be gone.
