Lindsey Perek '15 Recruiting Profile

I have played soccer since I was in kindergarten and I have known this was the sport for me ever since. I have tried just about every sport possible but I have always had a certain passion for soccer, but I have also always had a passion for learning. I've always known I wanted to play at the collegiate level and knowing that there is a possibility to have my two passions coincide makes me want to play in college that much more. I am a 5'5" midfielder and forward that currently attends Cy-Fair High School in Cypress Texas and have been a starter on the women's varsity soccer team since my sophomore year. I participate in numerous extracurricular clubs and volunteer organizations and and am an extremely hardworking student. My strengths as a player and a student include my hard work and persistence for perfection and self-motivation. I have an internal drive that propels me to be the best that i possibly can which helps me on the field as well as in the classroom. On the field my strengths include speed, versatility, consistency and accuracy which i hope to contribute to a collegiate level team. I plan to pursue a degree in pre-medical or biology which i know i can achieve due to my dedication and personal goals.
