Personal Statement
I am a 5'3" attacking-mid from Leander, TX and will graduate in the 2015 class. I have 8 years of club soccer experience with Lonestar SC and I played Varsity soccer as a freshman and as a starter my sophomore and junior year at Rouse High School. I received Honorable Mention on District 51-4A All District Team as a sophomore and Second Team All-District as a junior. In club soccer I play primarily attacking positions and my role on the team changes depending on the situation of the game. I am capable of playing both the right and left sides of the field. In school soccer I play a holding mid position and occasionally an outside mid position. I would like to be at a medium size school preferably in the state of Texas; however I am willing to explore all options and opportunities that may be available to me outside of the state of Texas. Currently I have been actively looking at schools that offer Criminal Justice programs and a Women’s soccer program in all divisions of play as I am interested in a career in Law Enforcement. Ideally I would like to play in an environment where I could make an immediate impact on the team. I have been team captain multiple years on my select soccer team; I am dedicated and like to lead my team through work ethic and desire to be a better player. I am looking forward to playing soccer while obtaining a higher education.
