Personal Statement
My passion is soccer and I’m also serious about my school work. I do the best job I can in whatever I do; and, I look forward to showing my work ethic and competitiveness in opportunities provided by my recent selection to the USYSA Region III ODP Pool.
I love sports and helping others; so, I am interested in pursuing a degree in Pre-Physical Therapy or Kinesiology.
I had great fun helping the preschoolers at the children’s ministry where I volunteered.
High school has been a lesson in time management. So far, I've been coping well with the demands of a rigorous academic & athletic schedule as my GPA of 4.3 on a 4.0 scale shows.
Additionally, my time in school soccer has been a rapid development. I started my freshman year on the JV squad and was called up to Varsity when the senior goalkeeper went out with a concussion. Through hard work I remained the starting varsity goalkeeper even when the senior GK had been cleared to play and I will work hard to keep my position throughout my high school career.
I am looking for an academically challenging college where I can find the right balance between the classroom, field, & fun!
My ideal athletic environment would be where I could make a significant impact on the team as quickly as possible.
Athletically, I believe the best fit would be at a athletically and academically competitive school as I am competitive by nature.
I am looking forward to playing and studying in college and at the current time will not rule out any opportunities.
Thanks for your interest!
