2012 - 2013Personal Statement
My name is Ashlynn Pritchett and I am goalkeeper for the 99 Cyclones FC. I am a senior at Red Oak High School. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and fell in love with the position of Goalkeeper when I was 10.
I am an A student with a 3.8 GPA currently ranked 17th out of students in my class. I enjoy Theater where we have done numerous productions. My other extra curricular activities include HADDIT, National Junior Honor Society, Student Council, and Rachael's Challenge. I have been involved in the Duke University TIP program which has allowed me to grow in knowledge and determination to be the best student I can be. I am the starting goalkeeper for the Red Oak High School Varsity soccer team under Coach Adam Prachyl.
My goals in soccer are to continue on my current course growing in strength, speed, and agility to become one of this regions elite goalkeepers. I will be playing high school soccer at Red Oak High School while continuing to play club. I have a strong dedication for soccer in which I am always working to try and better myself and my skills which includes team training, conditioning, and working with my private trainer, Matt Montayne who is the keeper coach for the University of North Texas.
After high school, my ambitions are to attend college where I plan to play soccer. My overall philosophy for soccer, the classroom, and life is to work hard, set goals for yourself, achieve those those goals by hard work and determination. Your life is what you make of it, so why not make it the best.
