Heaven Robinson '17 Recruiting Profile

My main goal is to attend college and receive a college degree. As of now I would like a degree in Sports Medicine.Secondly I would like to play soccer while attending college. I am self motivated, disciplined and hard working in my studies as well as in my training. I am a versatile player and will do my best in whatever position my team needs me in. I will work hard to learn what I need to do to be successful both on and off the field.
I'm currently taking the most advanced classes my school has to offer. I am enrolled in all Pre-AP, AP, and Dual credit courses available, and I am on my way to graduating as a Distinguished student. This semester, is the beginning semester of my junior year. I'm enrolled in the most challenging classes available. In taking these classes to not only push myself to work and study harder, but I hope to encourage my peers and teammates to challenge themeselves in the classroom and during training.
This is past season I was voted Team Captain by my teammates and coaches. As a team captain I feel obligated to not only push myself harder but to push my teammates harder as well. I encouraged my team to work hard during practice and treat every drill as if it was a real game situation. This helped myself and my team with faster gameplay and quick, smart decisions.
I do see myself as a very versatile and coachable player. Throughtout my years of playing I have been taught to play in various postitions. Although playing midfield is by far my favorite. Being in the middle I feel that I can see all parts of the field, which helps me communicate better with my teammates. I also think that the midfield controls the pace and flow of the game, and is essential to both offense and defense. I am a very dedicated player. I use my free time to practice on my individual skills. I normally go outside and practice basic ball control drills for at least a hour, and I run track and cross country during the summer and before school soccer season starts to get myself in shape, and put myself further ahead of other players.
