Personal Statement
I have been playing soccer for about 13 years, playing recreational, select, and high school soccer. In my soccer career I played on Lone Star and FC Lubbock with the ability to play all positions on the field. I began playing with Lone Star 97' at 11 years old and played for two years in the Lake Highland League. It became apparent that my skill level was beyond my age bracket so I began playing for Lone Star 96' in the Dallas Metro Division. Once this team dissolved I went back to my original team and played for a year until that team dissolved as well and was renamed FC Lubbock. I also participated in track, volleyball, and basketball throughout school.
I maintain a 3.5999 GPA and I will graduate with 46 college credit hours. I have participated in many organizations including; National Honor Society, Student Council, and National Junior Honor Society. Some programs I have and am currently involved in are; University Medical Center, South Plains Food Bank, Ronald McDonald House, The Haven, Mission Lubbock,UNICEF, Race for the Cure, and March for Dimes.
I plan on majoring in Nutrition Health and Wellness or Biology with pre-med prerequisites. I aspire to use one of these majors to become a physicians assistant or a sports physical trainer.
My Hobbies include playing my violin, travelling, reading, and working for Texas A&M Agrilife.
