Personal Statement

Playing soccer for my University/College would be a dream come true. My goal ever since I was 9 has been to play at the collegiate level, and one day the National level. I have the initiative to research colleges/universities for soccer programs and fields of study I am interested in. I have also researched some university coaches information and have emailed them my information and schedules. I am willing to train at the top levels to be able to preform my best for my team. I am a team player and leader. I have a good understanding of the game and vision of the field which allows me to communicate effectively with my teammates.  I have completed my NSCAA Goalkeeping Level 1 license.  I also participated for 2 years in the Olympic Development Program in the Southeast District.

I am the home team and we are playing Jacksonville Area 00 JASA Coastal Surge Girls Black (NC). We are on field 5 at Princess Ann Parkway. My first game on August 16 is at 8am. I am the away team and we play Virginia Rush Rush U16. We are on field 5 at Princess Ann Parkway. Then from there game times vary depending on what place my team finishes in.   • The overall objective of the Goalkeeping Level 1 Diploma is to explore some of the myths and mystiques surrounding the goalkeeping function. The six-hour course is directed towards the team coach - not the specialist goalkeeper coach. The object is to empower the coach with knowledge and practice methods that will enable the coach to evaluate a goalkeeper in game situations and then design an appropriate practice program for goalkeepers in and outside of team practices. The course includes lecture (theory) and field (practical) sessions.
