Personal Statement

Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.  My father is currently serving in the US Air Force and my Mom works from home.  I was born in Germany and currently live in Yorktown VA.   Soccer has been the way that I connect to new places and new people. I have loved soccer for as long as I can remember.  Being a military child that moves often,  I am very adaptable and thrive on the connection a team forms.   I believe it is my work ethics that allows me to be successful.  Every time we move I have to reprove my skills and talent and earn the trust of my team and I take great pride that I am able to do that no matter where we have lived.   My GPA has always been above average (4.0) and I have been called an overachiever by my peers, teachers, parents and especially coaches due to the fact that I always push myself to be the strongest and fastest. I hope that I can be part of a great collegiate soccer team where I can continue to develop and grow.  I also hope to one day play on a woman's professional team.  I strongly believe that with the combination of a great education and my dedication to my sport that anything is possible.
