As a 2 sport athlete, I have learned a lot about myself. Many of my coaches, peers, family/friends and even community members believe I am a leader in many different ways. Whether it is in soccer, basketball, or even in the classroom. I make my own decisions, have confidence and I am willing to help out others. Especially in sports, I believe one of my strongest qualities is my IQ for the game. I can see all parts of the field, know where I am, and can make decisions others may not see as quick. Playing with all different age groups, even the other gender, I can help out in many ways. Like a puzzle piece, I can thread the defense with precision passes, find the right shot, see other players across the field from me, or even knowing to drop to fill an open spot to help out on defense. I am a very technical player, by using many skills and cuts to get pass a defender. All of these qualities have shown myself that I can be a great team player to improve myself, and others. I have always wanted to play soccer in college, but coming with that has wanted me to be a role model for the younger players and give them someone to look up to, as I was once the younger player looking up to college athletes.
