Bridgett Bucci '18 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Bridgett Bucci and I aspire to play soccer in college.  I am a very versatile player who in the past few seasons has been regularly played in Center Back, Outside Back, Holding and Attacking Center Midfield, and Winger.  I believe that I am a well-rounded player who can defend well one v one, has great speed, has a strong shot, and a high soccer IQ.  On defense, I am able to cleanly side tackle my opponents to get the ball away from them and I also have great positioning and can stay in front of my opponent in order to impede their progress towards goal.  I have a good vision of the field especially from the Center Back position and am constantly communicating with my teammates in order to help my team play a good game.  I take goal kicks very well and am also a threat from the corner arc, as I have been taking corner kicks and free kicks for all of my teams the past several years in the travel level of play.  I am a team player who is always looking out for my teammates on and off the field.  I also take challenging AP and Honors level classes at school to ensure I get a good education, as I am currently in five AP classes as a junior.
