Renee Hancock '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a student athlete and have always taken my schoolwork very seriously. I love to learn new things and never back down for a challenge. My ambition and work ethic have translated well onto the soccer field and helped me become a better player. I am 5’3’’,115lbs, and play center midfield and outside forward. I have always been aggressive and gone into tackles hard, determined to come out on top. These traits mesh well with my ability to see the whole field and my aptitude for staying composed under pressure. I always give 110% and believe that you respect your teammates by never letting them out work you. One of my favorite mantras is “lead by example.”

I have always had a passion for learning and soccer! I hope to attend a selective or highly selective school with high academic rigor, considering that I am interested in pursuing a career in the medical field. Likewise, my goal is to play competitive collegiate level soccer at the university I attend. I am looking for a medium sized school, and have no specific location preference. Wherever I go, I hope to be an active leader and community member, and look forward to social activities and the opportunity to meet new people. My determination and drive have earned me success academically and athletically thus far, and looking forward, I am nothing but excited to continue pursuing my goals with the same passion in the future!
