Personal Statement
I'm looking at becoming a history teacher, history is one of my favorite subjects. As of right now, I have a grade point average of 3.8, but I really want to have a 3.9 or 4.0. I think that I work well with others, even people who are not a lot like me. I have strong ethical and moral values that lends well to being a good leader. As my record shows, I know how to win and to be a winner, I'm confident with my skills on and off the field. I put a lot of trust into my team and know how to be an effective team player. I look forward to utilizing these skills for you and for my team.
I love to serve my community: I have volunteered as a youth counselor for 6 years at God's love International Deer Park Youth Center, I am a relief counselor at Royal Family Kids Camp, and have served on the drama team for the last two summer, I have helped at Awana Camp and Awana Club as a leader in training, I'm also part of Link Crew which is a Leadership Program at our high school, I have helped at numerous VBS's, and have participated and helped in several soccer and goalkeeping camp. I love being able to help and serve my community and work with children. I pray that I can utilize these skills as a teacher and a coach in future endeavors.
