Personal Statement
My name is Caroline Adams and I play for Washington Rush Soccer in Everett, Washington. I just started my senior year at Archbishop Murphy High School and will graduate in 2017. I've played soccer my entire life, and for a long time I've intended to play soccer at a collegiate level. Unfortunately, I was sidelined for some time by an ACL injury and so I am looking for college soccer opportunities later than most players. Though the injury was a very difficult thing to go through, I have worked really hard in my return to soccer. Now fully rehabilitated, I feel that I am stronger than I’ve ever been, both physically and mentally. I rebounded from the injury in my first high school soccer season and was elected as a First Team All-Conference Midfielder that year. I was also selected as a team captain for my high school team by my teammates and coach for the upcoming year. I have earned my spot back on my club team, a team that has won the state title in the past and continues to compete at that level. I look forward to finding a college and program where I can both get a great education and continue playing at a high level. Thank you for taking the time to look at my profile.
