My name is Abby Nordquist. I have played soccer since I was 4 years old. I am a captain on the Varsity soccer team at Gig Harbor High School, a 3a school in Washington State. My club team is Harbor Premier G98. We are a division 1 team in RCL in Washington state. My main position is center back, however I also play outside back and defensive center mid and I am open to playing wherever your team needs me the most. I also play other sports such as basketball and Fastpitch, at Gig Harbor High School. Playing other sports has taught me some of the most important attributes of a good teammate. Throughout my career I have developed into a vocal leader both on and off the field. I am great at working with others. Finally, I am a very coachable person. I am interested in a college that will push me greatly both athletically and academically to be the best I can be. Lastly, some of my volunteer work includes working at The Foundation for Retinal Research Walk in 2010 and 2011, as well as volunteer sign waiving for our local school levy in 2014. I look forward to the recruiting process and hopefully I can find a school to push me academically and athletically and help me become a better person.
